Main Sender Window / User Interface (UI)

Overview:

The Main Sender window is where you will spend most of your time in Text Groove, this is the main page that you will do all of your live chatting with listeners. The Main Sender window is broken down into several sections:

The Main Sender Window:

The Top Menu Bar - This menu stays locked at the top of the page throughout the Text Groove platform.
  1. The Text Groove Logo - Is clickable and will bring you back to your Sender Selection Page.
  2. The Organization Switcher - Allows you to switch between Organizations you are part of - see more about switching between Organizations here.
  3. The Updates Tab - Will flash a coloured dot when new updates have been released for the Text Groove platform. To see what's new, click on this tab and a drop down of each update will appear, each of these can be clicked into to read a more detailed description of the updates.



The Left Menu Bar - This menu stays locked on the left of the page throughout the Text Groove platform. This menu will shrink when not in use, and expand when hovered over.
  1. The current logged in user will be displayed at the top of this menu with an icon and name.
  2. Senders:
    1. View Senders - Will take you to the main senders page.
    2. Add Sender - For Text Groove Admin use only. 
  3. Dashboard - Customize what you want to see and how you want to see it on your own personal dashboard.
  4. Contacts - Will take you to a full list of every contact for your organization. You can manually add, search, edit, and delete contacts.
  5. Apps - This is where you can access the "App Directory" to add new applications to Text Groove. Once installed, apps will populate in this tab.
  6. Automatic Replies:
    1. Manage - Create an automatic reply for certain scenarios. Have them send scheduled for 
    2. Assignments - 
  7. Message Templates - Create new message templates for messages you send frequently.

  9. Settings - Organization management, payment and subscription management, manage numbers, user settings, and admin tools are accessible through the settings page.
  10. Sign Out - Sign out of your account and return to main login page.



Shortcuts - The shortcut buttons along the top of the page allow you to quickly access some of our most commonly used tools in Text Groove, like; the Keywords App, Scheduled Messages, the Prep Page, Reports, and Notifications.



Profiles (Inbox View) - The Profiles view is setup to resemble an email inbox. The new incoming messages will appear on the top of this list, unread messages appear with a green highlight and a blue dot, clicking into one of these new messages will remove the green highlight and blue dot, and the conversation will open up in the middle section (Chat Panel).



Chat Panel - This is your chat view for that individual contact number, the entire chat history is visible in the Chat Panel. Incoming messages are gray, outgoing messages are blue. Your user name will appear above each sent message (this is internal information only and the listener does not see this).



Contact Info Panel - The contact info panel is where you can keep all known information about that particular number.
