Blocking & Muting Profiles

Overview:

If a listener is texting in too often and clogging your inbox, or perhaps they are texting in things that you do not want to read, see, or hear, you can choose to block that Profile. When a Profile is blocked, they are not informed that they have been blocked. 

When a Profile is blocked, they are put in a quarantine area of the platform that is hidden from view of your Main Sender Window. When a Profile is blocked, they are still able to send messages to you, and you are still receiving them, they are just being hidden from view. Blocking and Muting Profile can both be undone.

Blocking Profiles:

When logged in and viewing your Inbox in the Main Sender Window, hover over an individual profile, doing so will reveal 4 icons. Click the Block Contact icon to Block that particular Contact. You will be asked if you are sure you want to Block them. Click yes to Block, click no to cancel. A contact that is Blocked, will remain Blocked, until you choose to unblock them.

Muting Profiles:

When logged in and viewing your Inbox in the Main Sender Window, hover over an individual profile, doing so will reveal 4 icons. Click the Mute Profile icon to Mute that particular Contact. You will be asked if you are sure you want to Mute them. Click yes to Mute, click no to cancel. A contact that is Muted, will remain Muted, until you choose to unmute them, or 24 hours after you have muted them, they will automatically be unmuted.

Unblocking & Unmuting Profiles:

To Unblock or Unmute a Profile, when logged in and viewing your Inbox in the Main Sender Window, you will see a list of icons at the top of the Profiles Panel. Click the "Show/Hide Blocked and Muted" icon to reveal a list of all currently Blocked and Muted Profiles.

If you would like to Unblock or Unmute a Profile; with the "Show/Hide Blocked and Muted" icon activated, hover over the individual Profile you would like to undo, to reveal 4 icons on that Profile. Click the Unblock or Unmute icon depending on which action that put them there. After you click unblock or unmute they will return to the standard inbox view. To return to viewing the standard inbox view, click the "Show/Hide Blocked and Muted" icon to deactivate it. All unblocked profiles will now be visible again.
