User Notifications

Overview:

Each User on your account is able to create Custom User Notifications. By default, notifications are turned off. If you would like to use notifications, you need to turn them on in your own personal account. You can set exactly how, when, and where, you want to receive notifications. 

Turning on Notifications: 

To turn on custom notifications for yourself, you must be logged in to your own account. Click into the Main Sender Page and click the blue "Notifications" button along the top shortcuts bar.



Click the green "Add Notification" button at the top of this page to create one. 

Notification Options:

When creating a custom notification, you have several options you can choose:
  1. When to notify - You can have notifications send to you depending on the status of your Text Groove account.
    1. Always
    2. Offline and Away
    3. Away
    4. Offline
  2. How often to notify - You can have notifications send at different intervals of time.
    1. Every Message
    2. Every 15min
    3. Once an hour
    4. Every 8 hours
    5. Every Day
  3. Allow Notifications - You can set days and times as to when you would like to receive notifications. 
    1. Set a specific time and day when you would like to receive notifications.
  4. Notification Channel - You can have notifications send to you a few different ways.
    1. Email
    2. Slack
    3. Browser
    4. Webhook
Once these options are set. Click the green "Add Notification" button at the bottom of the page to turn this on.

You can delete, or edit active notifications any time on the previous screen.
