The Prep Page

The Prep Page

Overview:

To help your station bring conversation to the airwaves, we've created the "Prep Page".

Want to read a message on-air? Your Prep Page allows you to collaborate in real-time with a co-host or producer to add received messages to a queue/list.

NOTE: The prep page is a shared document with all users on the station and is meant to be used collaboratively. When you add, move, delete, or clear messages, you are doing so for all users, not just yourself.

Accessing the Prep Page:

From your main messaging dashboard, click the "Prep Page" button. This will take you to the Prep Page.

Adding a Message to the Prep Page:

In your messaging window, hover over the avatar, prompting the "+ Add to Prep Page" button to appear. By clicking the button, the selected message will be added to the Prep Page.

Adding Custom Prep:

Did someone call in? Have something you'd like to add yourself? Or separate chunks of information on the Prep Page by adding your own notes. Click "Add Custom Prep", located on the top left of the screen. You will be prompted to "Add Message to Prep Page" in a new pop up window. Once done, click "Add Message".

Removing Content from the Prep Page:

To remove a message or content from the Prep Page, click the "X" on the top left of the message. Removing a message off the Prep Page will not remove it from your main messaging dashboard.

Alternatively, you can click the "Clear Page" button to remove all content on the page.

Reorder Content on the Prep Page:

To reorder content on the page, simply click (and hold) and drag the content box to its desired location and order on screen.
