The Alternate Method Of Entry (AMOE) App

Overview:

The Alternate Method of Entry App (AMOE) is available for any end user to enter a contest without the use of their cellphone to text in. The AMOE generates a URL link that can be sent to the end user to fill out and enter a contest in what ever way they would like to.

Setting up the AMOE App:

Once you have added the AMOE App to your Text Groove account, click into it in the Apps Dropdown in the Left Side Menu.

Then click "+ Add AMOE"

Fill out all the information on this page, including:

Assign to Sender - The number you would like this AMOE to apply to.

Header Text - The name of the contest.

Contest Instructions - Add your contest instructions and info on how to enter.

Privacy Policy Link - Add the link to the Privacy Policy on your website.

Contest Rules Link - Add the link to the Contest Rules on your website.

Once complete, click "Add AMOE" at the bottom of the page.

At this point a URL link will be generated that you can now send to any end user. With this link, the end users will be able to click through and enter any keyword contest running on your station. Once listeners enter through the AMOE, you'll be able to see their entries on the stats page of the applicable keyword. If you draw them as a winner in that keyword contest, it will state "Alternative Method of Entry" so you know to give them a call rather than text.
