Risks of Public URL Shorteners
Overview:
When sending a message or creating an automatic reply within Text Groove, you may want to include a URL link to something specific online. Full URL links are perfectly acceptable to use for incoming and outgoing texts within Text Groove.
Free URL Shorteners (Bitly, Tinyurl, Shorturl):
There are many free public URL shorteners available online such as bitly, tinyurl, etc. All of which have their use in different circumstances. However, if these URL shorteners are used to create a link for use in a text being sent out by Text Groove, the text will almost always be flagged as spam at the carrier level. There is currently no way to bypass this.
Recommended Practice:
For the best deliverability and user experience, please download The URL Shortener App within Text Groove.
