Message Templates are great for scenarios where a consistent, standardized response is required.

Examples include:

  1. "Congratulations! You won [contest name]! Please reply with your name, number, and email. Our reception team will reach out to you when your prize is ready to pick up."
Station Format Changes / Show or Announcer Changes - Use a message template to acknowledge listener feedback about changes to the station or show.
  1. "Hey [first_name]. Thank you for the message. We're glad to hear you are enjoying the new station/show! Text us anytime."
Contesting - Send a message quickly for contest entries sent in at the wrong time
  1. "Thanks for texting in. Listen in at [date_time] when we're running the contest.
Traffic Tip - Save time with texts that you send a lot of.
  1. "Thanks [first_name] for the traffic tip!"

How To Use Message Templates:

Navigate to the "Message Templates" (1) feature in the left column.

From the Message Templates page, you can edit, delete, or add a new template. To add a new template, click "Add Message Template" (2).

Give the template a name (for internal use only) and type out the message. When you're finished, click "Add Message Template".

When you're ready to use a template that you have created, open a conversation with a listener from the main sender window and click the speech bubble icon under the message text box.

A pop-up window will appear displaying all saved message templates. Select the appropriate template (1) and click "Use Template" (2).

The message template will appear drafted up in the text message box. Before sending this message, you can edit the message, or simply send it as is. When you're happy with the message, click "Send".

How To Edit/Delete Message Templates:

To delete a Message Template you have created, click into your Message Templates through the Left Side Menu. On this page will be all of your previously created Message Templates. Listed on the right side of the screen, under the Actions Column, there are two icons, a blue Edit Icon, and a red Delete icon. To edit the name and verbiage of a Message Template, click the blue Edit Icon. To Delete a Message Template completely, click the red Delete Icon.
