Deleting Messages - Individual and Conversation

Overview:

Users in Text Groove have the ability to delete sent, and received messages in the platform. You can delete individual messages in a conversation, or you can delete an entire conversation.

When a message or conversation is deleted from the Text Groove platform, it is only deleted from the front-end. All incoming and outgoing messages are saved and accessible in the back-end and available upon request by an Admin on your account to support@textgroove.com . Just provide us the sender number, and the date and time span that you would like your message history exported.

Deleting Individual Messages:

When logged in and viewing your inbox in the Main Sender Window, click on a profile to open up the chat with that listener in the chat panel. In the chat panel, hover over the individual message you would like to delete. When hovering, the message will move to reveal a trashcan icon. Click the trashcan icon to delete the message. You will be asked if you are sure you want to delete it. Click yes to delete, click no to cancel.

Deleting Entire Conversations:

When logged in and viewing your Inbox in the Main Sender Window, hover over an individual profile, doing so will reveal 4 icons. Click the trashcan icon to delete the Entire Conversation. You will be asked if you are sure you want to delete it. Click yes to delete, click no to cancel. Deleting an entire conversation will delete all messages in the current conversation with that listener as well as clear the Profile from your inbox.
